pottery. We visit the Suleymaniye Mosque, built by the
architect Sinan, the name of the Sultan, "Süleyman the Magnificent."
We experience the Grand Bazaar with its purely oriental atmosphere.
Ottoman Empire;
Topkapi Palace, Spice Bazaar, Yeni Mosque and Bosphorus: Today
we are attending the modern and oriental faces of Istanbul. We
visit the famous Topkapi Palace and we can dream about the life of the sultans
and feel even once. Our next visit is to the Bazaar and we also visit the Spice
Bazaar, Yeni Mosque in the Eminönü district.
The white gulls in the blue sky accompany us with their singing during the Bosphorus boat trip. The dark blue of the Bosporus is as deep as the history of Istanbul.
Princes' Islands;
Today, we are taking a boat trip from Kabataş Harbour to the Princes' Islands, famous weekend holiday area in the Sea of Marmara renowned for their beautiful wooden houses and Mediterranean atmosphere. Popular with locals, the islands are renowned for their pine forests. We'll then return to the City by boat.
